If you find the ad for Mariah Carey’s newest fragrance rather creepy, it might be the excessive photoshop work. Aside from that, we’ve loved Mrs. Cannon’s prior fragrances: “M by Mariah Carey” and “Luscious Pink” as they are really great. Her third and newest fragrance, “Forever” is supposed to be as great, as WWD reported that Mariah collaborated with perfumer, Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan. The fragrance consists of neroli, lotus blossom and dewy green apple top; tuberose and gardenia as the heart and the drydowns are white musk and exotic wood. CelebrityClothingLine’s verdict: great for evenings.
Mariah Carey gushed about her newest fragrance:

Ron Rolleston, executive VP for global fragrance marketing at Elizabeth Arden also sees “Forever” fragrance as a manifestation of Mariah’s own true happiness:
“Mariah’s happily married, has a movie coming out in November, which already did well at Sundance, and she is releasing a new album in September. She’s got a lot of joy and optimism in her life right now, and we wanted to express that in a fragrance.”
The range includes eau de parfum in three sizes — 1 oz. for $42, 1.7 oz. for $55 and 3.3 oz. for $65. There’s also a 0.5-oz. parfum, $250, and a 6.8-oz. body lotion, $28. Major department stores will be carrying Mariah Carey’s “Forever” fragrance, including Macy’s, Dillard’s and Belk’s. Watch out for it as it comes out this September.
