Okay, after seeing this superfly kicks, we’d have to say that the only thing we hate about Yeezy right now is his inexplicable mullet.  Other than that, we think Kanye West brought it.  As a celebrity-designer, Kanye put a lot of thought in his shoe design, as in putting the quilted flap in the back to make it easier to tuck pants into.  Kanye’s thoughts on the extra flap: “The inspiration came from a jacket with a huge collar in the movie ‘Dune’. Most sneakers focus on the tongue, so I wanted to do something different.”  So far, we think he nails being different.  We also took a peek of his creation in nude color.

The Louis Vuitton kicks by Kanye will be available in June 2009.  Meanwhile, we’re still hangin’ out, waiting for Kanye’s Pastelle clothing line to drop.
