There is nothing sexier than a man who’s stylish. Bonus points if he’s fine. But we gotta admit, what turn us women on most of the time are not the ties or the shoes they’re wearing.
We love men who smell good, and by God, men love women who smell great.
No men understand this more than our own Usher. We thought Mariah Carey is the only singer who understands top notes better than anybody, but much to our delight, Usher has his own interpretation:
“I see a real parallel between music and fragrances. Top notes are like melodies — to me, fragrances are another way of telling my story.”
That being said, you just gotta brace yourselves ladies, because by mid September, Usher’s newest line of perfume is gonna hit the stores. After getting the Usher He and She perfumes up and running in the markets last year, Usher launches the limited edition UR for Men and UR for Women.
“There’s a lot more freshness and a lot more softness — while they’re still sexy, these scents are a little more youthful. The originals were more of a 24/7 profile. These are more relaxed. If you’re going to Cabo, this is what you’ll throw on.”
Well, we will go to Cabo in a second if the trip includes his hotness himself.
UR for Women is a fruity-floral eau de parfum by Firmenich. You’ll be smelling like peach nectar, white freesia, osmanthus, jasmine, honeysuckle, pink peonies, soft woods, creamy captive musks and praline. That is a lot of sexiness, ladies. The eau de perfume perfume ranges between $52 to $68. A body lotion is also available for $38.
And for the gentlemen out there, the UR for Men is an energetic, fresh aromatic by Firmenich. The aromas consists of the Sea Breeze accord, crisp fruits, the heart is of nutmeg, Thai basil, bay oil, artemisia, guaiac wood, cashmere wood and sandalwood. The eaux de toilette is ranged from $50 to $65. An aftershave tonic will also be available for $45 and deodorant for $16. That’s more than enough stuff to keep your man smellin’ good all day long.
Art Spiro, executive vice president of Liz Clairbone brands is also pumped up about the partnership. “It’s been a wonderful partnership and collaboration. Usher had always been quite clear and articulate in what he wanted and expected out of the fragrances.”
Looks like Usher’s not only making sweet music onstage!
