Sneak Peek: Katie Holmes for Ann Taylor Spring 2011

As if we needed any more proof that Katie Holmes is the most demure and ladylike fashionista in Hollywood, we recently caught some sneak peek photos of her Ann Taylor Spring 2011 campaign photos to further drive the point home. The pictorials, which will make their debut in March 2011 fashion magazines like “ELLE,” “Glamour” and “Vogue,” were shot by famed fashion photographer Tom Munro outside a Pasadena, CA property in early December 2010.

Mrs. Tom Cruise has long been one of our favorite modest role models, often opting for outfits that would make her Roman Catholic family proud. After all, she single-handedly brought slouchy “boyfriend” style jeans and long, cozy cardigans into fashion in the past calendar year alone! On the red carpet, Katie often wows critics in structured, classic styles and clean, polished hair and accessories. She’s like the perfectly manicured, impeccably groomed, girl next door, whose fashion budget just happens to come out of Tom Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible” kitty. What’s not to love?

In addition to Katie adding her own charm to the photos, the Ann Taylor Spring Collection is jam-packed with beautiful, drool-worthy pieces. The previews state that the collection is inspired by the designers’ “fresh, feminine take on American sportswear,” and from what we’ve seen so far, we’re loving their interpretation.

Ann Taylor has been our personal go-to destination for professional and appropriate attire for everywhere from the office to special black-tie events. The label is so beloved by celebrities and everyday women alike, because their pieces are classic, versatile and exceptionally well made for the affordable price point. We think Katie is a perfect fit for the brand, and apparently so does Ann Taylor president Christine Beauchamp. She states, “Katie personifies the Ann Taylor brand – smart, talented, incredibly chic, and living a full life with beauty and grace.”
