Heidiwood By Heidi Montag Got The Axe: Good News For Lauren Conrad?

When we talk about fashion failures, we never talk Klum.  We talk Montag.  And Heidi Montag is experiencing a downfall with the discontinuation of her fashion line: Heidiwood.  The reality TV star / (wannabe) celebrity designer, who’s known best for her portrayal as -well, herself, in the MTV hit show The Hills is forced to close down store earlier this month. Anchor Blue Retail Group, which has been her partner in releasing the Heidiwood clothing line decided that they will not continue their contract with Heidi Montag for Heidiwood and will get back to their denim roots.

We really wonder whether Heidiwood closing down means happy news for Lauren Conrad, who’s known as Heidi Montag’s ex-bestfriend from The Hills (who’s also a celebrity designer).  As reported by various media, the Lauren Conrad line has got good reviews on the LA Fashion Week show. Ah, the drama and the rivalry.  This is the kind of reality we love. For now, we know who’s winning, and here’s something we like from Lauren Conrad, the Jacqueline Top.

Our only suggestion for Lauren would be: add some more colors please! As for class, it’s way better than Heidiwood, hands down.

Catfight! LOL!

About Heidi Montag

Heidi Blair Pratt (née Montag; born September 15, 1986) is an American television personality, singer, fashion designer, and author. Born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado, she befriended Lauren Conrad in 2005. In 2006, Montag came to prominence after being cast in the MTV reality television series The Hills, which chronicled the personal and professional lives of Conrad, Montag, and friends Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port. During its production, she briefly attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and was employed by event planning company Bolthouse Productions. As the series progressed, Montag began dating fellow cast member Spencer Pratt, which ultimately ended her friendship with Conrad. Their ensuing feud became the central focus of the series, and was carried through each subsequent season.
