Beck Fronts Saint Laurent Paris’ Spring 2013 Campaign

Saint Laurent Paris, formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent, is going for a younger (or slightly older) demographic ever since it changed its name and logo. The fashion house has also featured musician Tom Burke from Citizens!, which also marks the reign of ex Dior Homme creative director, Hedi Slimane.

Kicking off 2013, Slimane brings another musician into the Saint Laurent front: Beck. In the ad, Beck wears a chambray shirt, combined with a loose skinny tie, and the look is completed with a fringe suede jacket. In another picture, Beck wears a tuxedo which he pairs with a floppy fedora and sunglasses. For the women, British model Edie Campbell shows us how it is to be rock-chic.

Looks like Saint Laurent Paris’ message is clear: rock-and-roll-meets-couture is hot for 2013!

Do you think Saint Laurent Paris picked the right celebrity to represent its new collection?
