Madonna teamed up with Aldo Group in 2012 to create a line of shoes for her Truth or Dare brand. Her first collection was sold at Nordstrom and Macy’s in the US and Selfridges in the UK, but quickly sold out from stores. Most of her shoe designs are black or gray with studs and metallic accents.
With her stylist, Arianne Phillips, as the creative consultant for the collection, Madonna unveiled more than 60 styles, including flats, heels, booties, and over-the-knee-boots which will retail at a price range of $80 up to $349. Phillips also stated that Madonna has been really involved in the shoe business.
Her fingers are really on this brand. The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can’t live without. You can always depend on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, but she also has a very feminine perspective.
