Though Kanye West has many success clothing ventures under his belt, one project that never panned out was Pastelle Clothing.

Rumors of a Kanye West clothing brand have been present throughout his career. In his 2004 music video “The New Workout Plan,” he wore a polo shirt with his teddy bear logo, the “Dropout Bear.” However he decided that he wanted to focus on creating a fashion brand rather than releasing the bear merchandise.

The name Pastelle was announced in 2007 and throughout 2008 Kanye himself began wearing prototypes of many clothing items emblazoned with the Pastelle name and logo. A lookbook was put out in 2008, but the clothing was never available for purchase. In 2009 it was announced that the brand had been officially cancelled.
