M.I.A. brought her love of prints to Donatella Versace’s Versus Versace brand. She created a 19-piece collection of mens and womens streetwear including tees, leggings, button-ups, and dresses.
M.I.A. was inspired by Versace knockoffs and she created her own versions of some of Versace’s iconic patterns and logos. She altered the brand’s Greek key pattern to look like her initials. She created a few different gold coin designs. She also made emblems with her initials, inspired by Roman Numerals and by the Greek key. Her clothing designs are a loud mix of all these logos at once.
