Sequels are usually flop, but not this time! It all started when Melanie Martinez released an electric blue lipstick called ‘Cry Baby’ with Lime Crime after the album dropped into our hearts. Now, they introduced the ‘Teddy Bear Velvetine’: a follow up to her first ‘Crybaby’ lipstick. It has a matte shade and is described as a Lilac Brown, which has been inspired by Melanie’s Teddy Bear.

Melanie showered her love on the brand by saying that she chose to collaborate with them because,

“[It] stands for expressing yourself through the art of makeup, being comfortable with who you are and celebrating being different.”

“Cry Baby lipstick coincides with the release of my new album by the same name. It is inspired by the color of a cartoon tear! I wanted it to be playful and electric, but still comfortable enough to wear. I chose to collaborate with Lime Crime because the brand stands for expressing yourself through the art of makeup, being comfortable with who you are and celebrating being different. I cannot wait for all my crybabies out there to try this magical lipstick on and feel comfortable in it, but still get heads to turn!”

Packed with the bright popping pigment, Crybaby Lipstick has a truly opaque finish. Even better, it only needs a coat to get full coverage that lasts for 3-4 hours. So, you can show off that perfect pout at ease. Besides, it will never dry out either and runs on super smooth. Therefore, no need for lip liners, or worries about bleed lines.

Melanie has made Crybaby a major success, but she will not stop there. This time, she launched the Velvetine! Shop the latest collaboration exclusively at https://www.limecrime.com/lipsticks/velvetines-matte-lipstick/teddy-bear-lilac-brown-mauve.
