International musical phenomenon and actress Eve launched her clothing company Fetish Clothing in the fall of 2003. Fetish was Eve’s signature line of urban sophisticated clothes for juniors and women which was originally sold in department stores. It included a full range of clothes — from jackets to jeans — as well as a line of handbags.
The brand shut down temporarily due to a dispute with parent company the Innovo Group, which currently owns Joe’s Jeans.
In 2008 the brand was relaunched through a partnership with Signature Apparel and sold online exclusively at DrJays.com. While the original collection focused heavily on the brand name and logo, the relaunch was more fashion-focused with simple sexy dresses. Unfortunately this incarnation didn’t last long.
She planned to relaunch the brand for a third time in 2009, but it fell through. In a 2013 interview with BET, she revealed that the brand is done for good:
I let Fetish go a while ago. Years ago actually, so I definitely don’t have it anymore but I definitely want to do another clothing line at some point. I’m not sure when but I definitely want to. I love fashion so I’m sure something will come up soon.
