Wu-Tang Clan member ODB announced plans to release his own clothing line “Dirt McGirt,” named after one of his many aliases, in December 2003. Unfortunately he died less than a year later on November 13, 2004 and never had the chance to grow the brand to it’s maximum potential.
He also created his own underwear line, Ol’ Dirty Drawers.
Russell Tyrone Jones (November 15, 1968 – November 13, 2004), better known under his stage name Ol’ Dirty Bastard (or ODB), was an American rapper and occasional producer. He was one of the founding members of the Wu-Tang Clan, a rap group primarily from Staten Island, New York which first rose to mainstream prominence with their 1993 debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
