Just as we thought Bow Wow is down and out with having clothing lines after discontinuing his line: Shago, this young rapper is trying his luck again in the fashion business.  But this time he won’t be alone.  Bow Wow teamed up with basketball player, Stephon Marbury to create a new collection for Marbury’s clothing brand, “Starbury”. Back in 2006, the Knicks player partnered up with Steve & Barry’s to produce a line of affordable leisurewear for youngsters.

The new Starbury collection will launch in November 2009.  Bow Wow wants to make sure that his sneakers are affordable to families.  He commented about his upcoming line in an interview:

“Now, times are harder for parents to go to the mall if they got two kids or three kids and try to buy three pairs of Jordans. I felt it was my responsibility to cater to them and put something in the market place affordable for all people.  So that’s my way of giving back to my fans and the community.  Same quality as a Jordan sneaker, it only cost $26 to make a Jordan shoe, period. Right now, it’s Prince Bow which is me. I’m the prince of hip-hop and everyone calls me Bow anyway, so it’s Prince Bow.”
